Congratulations to Senior TE/DE Shane Allison on his selection as South Carroll’s 2021 National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.
A three year varsity football player, Shane has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic both on the football field, and in the classroom. Additionally, he’s worked with the Three Rangers Foundation during his free time. Shane is finishing up his high school career with a 4.5 GPA, and has committed to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and play football next season for the Engineers.
The Greater Baltimore Chapter of the NFF’s mission is to help student-athletes take responsibility for their futures through lessons learned on the playing field, in the classroom and in service to others.
Scholar-athletes representing football-playing high schools in the Baltimore metropolitan area were selected by their respective schools for a variety of factors, including extracurricular activities, leadership, and community activities.
Since it was founded in 1961, the Baltimore Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame represents amateur football in Baltimore and the surrounding counties of Anne Arundel, Carroll, Frederick, Harford and Howard.
