Chris grew up in Prince George’s County Maryland before he moved to Carroll County in 1994. Chris graduated from Francis Scott Key High School in 1995.

Chris played high school football as an offensive lineman at FSK, and went on to play semi-pro football in the same position with the Carroll County Cannons under coach Mike Kraus, where he won a Atlantic Coast Football League championship in an undefeated season in 2012.

Both during and after his playing days with the Cannons, Chris coached for 12 years in the FSK Jr Eagles football program. Six of those years were as the 8th grade varsity head coach. He also spent six seasons filling multiple roles as a varsity O-line, D-line, and linebackers coach at FSK High School from 2014 to 2019.

“I don’t need you to be the best version of that guy. I need you to be the best version of yourself. If you’re willing to give me that, we’re gonna do alright.” - Eric Thomas

Chris brings a lot of experience, character, and relatability to the already strong coaching staff here at SC. He believes that every player has an equal opportunity and responsibility to influence the success of the program.

He and his lovely wife Miranda now live in Littlestown, PA. Together they have 3 adult children and one grandchild. Chris is an active member of the community. He works full time as an Area Rep for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and part time at Uniontown Bible Church.
